Hello Dearest World,

Today was very interesting seeing as I just sat in my own little world and read a great book in the sun. I do want to say that I dearly apologize that I haven't posted in so long, however, I have some super exciting stuff to share with  you guys. Here, is a all natural way to clean your pores and even make some tea at the same time. Maybe its time for a girls night out! I got this awesome natural "recipe" off this adorable blog (http://www.pktaswegrow.com) you should definitely check it out especially if you are a mother, she has tons of cute stuff on here!

Natural Pore Cleanser
It made my skin glow as well as making it so soft! You have to try it.

What you will need:
     2 cups of water
     1 small pot
Handful of Basil (fresh or not either is great although I always use fresh)
Equal amount of Lavender (fresh or not again I always use fresh)
     3 Tablespoons of Baking soda

What to do:
Step 1: Take your 2 cups of water, Lavender oil, and basil, and pop them into a pan on the stove
Step 2: Turn on stovetop to medium and let the mixture boil for about 7-9 minutes
Step 3: Once mixture has boiled for that time, pull off burner and pour into a bowl
Step 4: Pull back your hair, and place face over bowl letting the steam hit and absorb into your face. Do this for about 10 minutes. It's super relaxing and smells SOOOO GREAT!
Step 5: Take your baking soda, and a little bit of water, and make into a paste. Massage thoroughly into skin. Let it dry.
Step 6: Wash baking soda off with cool water. Your skin will feel fresh and new as well as insanely soft and if you do this 1-2 times a week your blackheads and irritations will be saying BYE!

This really does work you guys and even if you have sensitive skin like me it feels natural and great! Im going to be posting everything I discover this summer so please follow me!!! I love you guys, and remember KEEP SMILING!

Love,

     Elyssa

HEY GUYS

My Dearest Blog,

I am so so sorry I have not wrote you lately, I have been so busy this past couple of weeks! Swim season is great and even though its kicking my butt I continue to work my best and give my all, some things are worth it. But its true I do miss summer and I am so glad its on its way not only because it means no school but it means POLO!!! :D I miss water polo so so so much its seems like its been years since the end of the season! Man life is blowing past at an intense speed, and even though sometimes things are a blur I just keep on keeping on. You know my friend told me the other day "Elyssa, if life wasn't such a ride than where would we get the smiles" I love her so much she makes my day. Anyway, lately I have been super busy as I said before, you know the usual school, swim, home...its a circle but recently its been out of control and I cant hang on to the ride. Ive been working at swim, MELS is coming up and I have to swim the 200IM and the 200 Medley Relay, the butterfly of course. As well as the 100 fly, and sense my shoulder is still healing its not easy. As for school, well its hard, there's so much to do in what seems like such little time and im totally stressing. College class is good though, Ill post some pics next time for you guys to see what Ive made.

Crazy Fit!

Thursday, March 29th, 2012

To My Dear Lovely Blog,

Today was an amazing day, I went for a great bike ride as I told you yesterday and it was a great ride. I rode 7.4 miles and had a great time. However we can start with waking up this morning. So today when I woke up at 7:25 I got dressed and did my usual routine, heading to the pool for my two hour swim practice. Swim was so great and after practice I was pretty sore so I stretched a bit and fixed that. Than Dad and I went to the hunting store and I got my first pair of throwing knives! I'm excited to learn something new! Besides this I am taking an interest in archery as well, this is very exciting. Anyway after that I came home and relaxed I decided I would go on that awesome bike ride! This ride started with a simple decision to get on my bike which I just fixed up, and ended 7.4 miles later in exhaustion and satisfaction. I loved it and it was super fun!!! Tomorrow maybe I will go for another one.

Love,

I Never Stop Moving

Tuesday,  March 27th, 2012

     Dearest Blog,

Today was an interesting day. I missed swim practice this morning which was a bit bothersome but I did get to go babysit for an hour in the morning, win some lose some. And upon my return I cleaned the whole house , my mom was so happy and it made me feel great. Has she been right this whole time? Is staying neat and doing things the right way the first time really easier? Ha what a joke nah she can not possibly be right ;). What? What do I know, I'm just a teenager. On a more interesting note I have started a new project. What is it you ask? A secret! I will tell you at a later date because it is for my parents.

This year my family hosted a foreign exchange student, he is German and is really cool. He has been here already since August, its amazing how time flies. Soon he will be heading back to Germany and I will miss him so much whether I say it to him or not. Chances are when he leaves I will cry. He has been such a great host brother and I am so glad I met him. Luckily for us he isn't leaving right at the end of the school year because his parents are coming here to get him!! I know right we get to meet his dad, his mom, and his little sister. I'm so, so, so excited!!!

On a final couple of notes I have swim practice tomorrow morning bright and early. FINALLY, I have finally recovered enough to go to swim practice after ripping my pectoral muscle off my shoulder. I hope I wont be too tired. Randomness right here but I just realized how much I love listening to music when I work out, its too bad that the pool doesn't have underwater surround sound. I mean that would be so awesome right!! After swim I get to go babysit again and dye Easter eggs with the little boy across the street! Hes sooooo adorable!! Well goodnight my little blog, sweet dreams to all.

Love,

    Elyssa <3

Normal Day

Wednesday, March 28th, 2012

Dearest Blog,

Its me again, and I had the greatest day! It all started with my daily swim practice, and seeing as its spring break practice was held in the morning. WHICH I LOVED!!! It was so great and I had a amazing time working out, I worked so hard I'm so glad I did and I know it will pay off. And after I had an amazing work out I got to eat breakfast and go babysit that cute little boy I told y'all about yesterday, we had so much fun! Plus I cleaned the kitchen, walked the neighbors dog and even got to take a nap. What a productive day if I do say so myself! After I had finished all of this productiveness I had to take some me time. So my brother offered to go for a longboard with me. We had tons of fun and skated about 3 miles. Tomorrow after swim were going to go to for a bike ride. Maybe about 4 or 5 miles to start. Well than I will post again tomorrow "my little lemon drops" ~The Gradual Report.

Love,
